IPL owners jostle to pick U-19 World Cup stars

After Indian & International cricket players it is the turn of U-19 players. India's World Cup winning Under-19 team stole the limelight during the second auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday as the cash-stacked franchise owners jostled to buy them.

The incisive news channel is available in the US only through DirecTV.The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has fixed an IPL fee of $30,000 for the Under-19 players.

Earlier, the IPL organisers had prevented franchise owners from reaching out to junior players when they were playing in the World Cup in Malaysia so that it did not affect their focus.
